CALL FOR ENTRIES: Green Shorts Micro-Festival, Portsmouth

[Received this notice from the Green Shorts Micro-Festival:]

It’s time to think green! What does that mean? We want you to tell us.

We’re looking for both factual and fictional short films rooted in the natural world around us to screen at Green Shorts, a short film micro-festival in Portsmouth, NH.  The scope is wide open: send us your stunning visuals, captivating narratives, or stimulating discourses that put us in mind of the world, the environment and humanity.

Don’t have a film that fits the bill? Why not grab a camera, head out into our natural world, and see what you can find?  You’ve really got free reign -- it could be live-action or animation; meditative, experimental or script-based -- whatever style best suits your vision when you think green.

So, are there any requirements? No, but because we want to screen as many fantastic short films as we can, we’re more likely to select films under 20 minutes in length.

It’s free to submit and there is no limit on the number of films you can send us. Not only that, but the first 50 submitters from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, or Maine will be treated to a complimentary one-year membership to the Green Alliance!

What are you waiting for? You have until October 3, 2013 to head to http://greenshorts.filmunbound.com/submissions and submit your film.

Green Shorts will take place Thursday, October 24 at 7:30 pm in the Green Alliance space at 75 Congress Street, Suite 304, Portsmouth, NH. For more information and updates, visit http://greenshorts.filmunbound.com. Green Shorts is a collaboration between the Green Alliance and Film Unbound.
