New Hampshire Buddies Up to Indie Films

Nice little write-up today on HollywoodEastConnection.com about our efforts to make the Granite State the place to be for independent film!

Read the piece here.

It's a good piece, although I’d like to clarify a couple of things toward the end of the article. The recent film credits listed in the piece, taken from our online filmography, contain a couple of web commercials rather than independent films. Some recent indie films in NH: yellowbrickroad, Mystery Team, The Sensation of Sight, Live Free or Die, The Pond, Crooked Lane, and Dangerous Crosswinds.

I’d also like to point out that while the Film Office and members of our industry continue to talk to our legislators about the possibility of some sort of incentive for filmmakers, we’re doing so carefully and slowly - and working toward something that would have to be the right fit for New Hampshire.

Thanks,
