Heartwood Media Travels to Peru for Saint Anselm College
Documents student educational trip for promotional video

Heartwood Media, an award-winning video, TV, and multi-media production company based in Manchester, NH, was hired by Saint Anselm College to create a video highlighting the experiences of students travelling abroad.

Heartwood Creative Director Chris Conroy traveled with the Saint Anselm students to Peru, documenting the beauty and history of the places they visited, from the barrios of Lima to Cusco and Machu Picchu.

Cameras rolled as students experienced firsthand the history, culture and people of Peru as part of a class that examined biblical concepts of peace and the impact of globalization on a society. The video also captures the profound impact the experience had on students, who expressed the life-changing effects the class had on them.

“Chris Conroy and Heartwood Media did a wonderful job capturing the experiential learning of our students in Peru,” says Doug Minor, director of digital communications and marketing at Saint Anselm. “Heartwood clearly understands the power of video in bringing the experience of our students studying abroad to a wider audience.
