Call-For-Entries: WGBH's The Lab looking for video submissions

An opportunity from The Lab at WGBH in Boston.
The Lab at Boston's public media station WGBH has a new opportunity for film and video storytellers and new media makers. In partnership with the PBS show AMERICAN EXPERIENCE, which will air the film Stonewall Uprising this April, we are looking for 3-minute videos that tell the story about the gay rights movement happening today in your community. Help WGBH Lab share news about this important civil rights story by contributing your own view.

Your video could be one of five to win a $1000 prize and maybe even a chance to air on PBS after the film. Video submissions will become part of a contest and guest judges, including prominent gay rights advocates Cyndi Lauper and Dan Savage, will help decide who wins. The deadline for submissions is February 14th, 2011. To see a trailer of Stonewall Uprising and to find out more about the application process, visit the open call home page: http://www.thewgbhlab.org/open-call/stonewall
