Carlisle One Media acquires WZMY-TV

DERRY — Carlisle One Media, Inc. announced today that it has reached an agreement to purchase WZMY-TV, a television broadcast station based in Derry, NH.

WZMY-TV is an affiliate of Fox-owned My Network TV. WZMY also carries Universal Sports, NBCs Olympic sports channel, on its digital broadcast signal. Each channel reaches over 2.4 million households representing nearly 6 million viewers on major cable networks throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Fox and NBC Sports are great partners and we are looking forward to working with them, said Bill Binnie, president of Carlisle One Media, Inc. In addition, we are excited to be the exclusive provider of Universal Sports in the greater Boston market. We are committed to working hard to fully realize the unique potential of this station in the coming years," said Binnie.

Under Carlisle ownership the station will become WBIN-TV. Closing is estimated in early May. The company will announce new programming and locally produced content in early summer
