2013 Boston Science Fiction Film Festival
Call for Entries Includes Steampunk

(Boston, MA) The venerable Boston Science Fiction Film Festival is calling for film makers to submit their projects to its 38th installment. Film makers can submit their projects to withoutabox.com. Winners will selected for Best Feature and Best Short. Like last year two new categories return - Steampunk Feature & Short. The best overall entry will get THE GORT, an exclusively designed sculpture plus the normal swag associated with the festival.

Submission fees start at $22.50 with graduated increases. Exact details for submissions are located at WithoutABox.com or by going to the BostonSci-Fi.com web site. This is a juried event.

The Festival will start February 8 at the Somerville Theatre, 55 Davis Sq in Somerville MA and will end on February 18. The fest culminates with the annual 24 hour film marathon, affectionately called The ‘Thon. The venue is only two Red Line (MBTA) stops from Harvard and is within walking distance of Tufts University.

The final call for submissions ends January 8, 2013. Student pricing is available for early entrants.
