Casting Notice: Open auditions for New Hampshire short film "Brothers" on April 7

[Received this casting notice from the producers of the short film BROTHERS:]


Holding open auditions for a short film Sunday 4/7.  Casting Jake, a tough, rural boy 13/14 years old.

Robert Eggers directs, Brothers.  Eggers is a Sundance Institute Cinereach Film Fellow. The film is produced by Jodi Redmond (Fray) and Parts & Labor (Beginners, Christopher Plummer, Ewan McGregor; The Loneliest Planet, Gael Garcia Bernal).  The film shoots  in late April around the Epping area.

Tom and Jake live on a ramshackle farm with their grandmother.  Tom loves his older brother, but Jake has a dark side.  After the boys find a strange object in the woods their innocent roughhousing escalates to tragedy.

No acting or film experience is necessary.  No need to prepare anything.  Audition materials will be provided.  A parent or guardian must accompany their child to the audition.  Auditions will be held 10am-2pm on Sunday April 7 in Epping, NH.  To schedule an audition please email:
