“Ellis” is a story about forbidden love, friendship, personal growth and sacrifice. A story that takes place in Dover Creek, a poor trailer community in the heart of rural Vermont, where Ellis, a 16 year-old boy, falls in love with a married woman named Sheila and attempts to persuade her to leave Dover Creek for good to start a new life.
ELLIS - (16) An old soul that falls in love with a like-minded, caring woman filling the gap of his lost mother and providing an escape from his abusive stepfather.
SHEILA - (38) An attractive, kind and caring woman is stuck in a draining marriage and seeks comfort in Ellis, a 16 year-old guilty pleasure that makes her feel young again.
GREASE - (11) A charismatic young Fonzerelli, a bit too young to be as curious as he is about women but seeks brotherly friendship and advice from his best friend Ellis.
DALE - (45) A stepfather stuck with a son he never wanted after his wife passes away, constantly proves himself around the house.
