LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: HB655 tabled in the New Hampshire House

On March 3, the House Ways and Means Committee voted 11-10 recommending that HB655, an act that would establish a credit against business profits taxes for motion picture production expenditures in New Hampshire, be Inexpedient to Legislate. On March 11, HB655 was pulled from the consent calendar and brought to the House floor. Rep. Bill Ohm(Hillsborough-36) of the Committee, made a motion to table the bill, citing that some of the mechanics need to be reworked. The motion to lay on the table was adopted, 329-39.
